August 20-22, 2015
Location: Berkshire Mountains of
Connecticut (just 90 minutes outside of NYC)

Our mission is to change the way business is played and we wanted to do something really epic for our annual semi-public event.

Your ‘Camp Counselors’ are the experts and top business minds you’d normally see delivering keynotes at seminars – but not here.

Here are just a few of the Camp Counselors
we’ve confirmed so far…

[/op_liveeditor_element]
Camp Counselor #1:
Cameron Herold
[/op_liveeditor_element]
What he did was so impressive, it became a case study at the Harvard Business School.
His successes (and yes, the occasional failures) have given him insights into tried-and-true systems that work in the real world. It’s virtually unprecedented to get 3 full days with Cameron in this kind of environment.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]
[op_liveeditor_elements][/op_liveeditor_elements][/op_popup]

[/op_liveeditor_element]
Camp Counselor #2:
Andy Nulman
[/op_liveeditor_element]
Andy has been a ‘surprise marketer’ before the term even appeared. He’s the CEO of the ‘Just for Laughs’ comedy festival in Montreal (the largest comedy event of its kind) and founder of mobile entertainment company, Airborne Media, which he sold for nearly $100M.
Business in this new economy has changed dramatically!
Your customers expect more, they have higher expectations (which usually aren’t fulfilled) and they pretty much ignore most traditional advertising. What’s more, they can instantly ‘review’ what you deliver for better or worse with a few keystrokes using everything from blogs, yelp, review sites or just firing up Twitter or Facebook.
But there’s something in our arsenal that might just be the spark to positively ignite a web word-of-mouth movement…and that’s using the power of surprise![/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]
[op_liveeditor_elements][/op_liveeditor_elements][/op_popup]

[/op_liveeditor_element]

[/op_liveeditor_element]
She works privately with clients such as the Conscious Leadership Group to develop curriculum for their signature programs and facilitator trainings. Jenny is a featured presenter and speaker at conferences around the world such as Wisdom 2.0, Wanderlust, and Yoga Journal Live.
You actually get a double bonus here…
Not only will she be leading AcroYoga sessions but she’ll be sharing exactly how to ignite powerful movements and deliver transformative trainings. She brings her 15 years of designing and leading live events for tens of thousands of students in over 20 countries, and with groups from 2 to 2000. Jenny will be showcasing her ‘Rock the Room’ trainings to engage in playful and profound ways of increasing trust, collaboration and creativity in any group you lead. You’ll know exactly how to design transformational live events, from workshops and seminars, to talks and trainings.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]
[op_liveeditor_elements][/op_liveeditor_elements][/op_popup]

[/op_liveeditor_element]
Camp Counselor #4:
Jason Hanson
[/op_liveeditor_element]
You can imagine he’s been crazy-busy after the exposure on TV and it’s only as a personal favor he’s coming out for this personalized training. Jason will show exactly how to escape duct tape, rope, zip ties and even pick locks and handcuffs using simple objects. You’ll get trained on the #1 way to create improvised weapons in emergency situation and even avoid being a victim of a deadly home invasion plus much more.
Maverick members have been privileged to take part in a wide variety of experiences and special access…not only is this one going to be absolutely amazing but it also might just end up saving your life.[/text_block][/op_liveeditor_element]

Where is Camp Maverick?
Camp Maverick is in CT, just 90 minutes from New York City and 3 hours from Boston. We’ll have comfortable buses running from the major NYC airports at multiple times or you can choose to make the drive in.
What are the dates and when should I show up/leave?
Camp Maverick will kick off on the evening of August 19th and will end (boo!) with a farewell brunch on August 23rd.
August 19th: Check-In Begins at 5:30pm. Shuttles will be departing LGA airport at 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm
August 23rd: Check-Out is at 11:30am. Shuttles will be departing for LGA at 9:00 am, 10:00am, 11:00am and 12pm.
Can I show up late?
Well, if you really need to – sure, but who wants to miss part of Camp!? If you do need to come in late, you’ll need to arrange for your own transportation from the airport and let us know about your travel plans after you sign up.
What are the “bunks” like?
Staying in the great outdoors doesn’t mean roughing it. Think rustic luxury – your comfortable cabins include air conditioning, private bathrooms and even daily housekeeping. Plus the good news is you’ve only got 2-4 people per cabin.
What kind of food will be there?
The chefs at Camp Maverick come from the nearby Connecticut Culinary Institute and will tempt you with the freshest ingredients; serving up an awesome variety of items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
What kind of drinks are included?
No cheapo stuff here. All of your drinks are included and you’ll get treated to top shelf brands of liquor, beer and wine.
Can I bring electronics?
Yes, you can but why? Being in the moment makes a huge difference so try leaving it all behind. Seriously. We dare you!
Am I too old for camp?
No way! Also, you will be able to decide on which activities you want to participate in and which you don’t…and there will really be something for everyone!
How much time is learning versus fun?
Remember you get to create a lot of your own experience. It’s totally up to you if you want more free time and leisure or want to spend more time digging in with our camp counselors and experts.
Can I bring my kids? My dog?
Camp Maverick is currently an adults only event – that means all campers must be at least 18 years of age. We love pets, but unfortunately they’re gonna have to skip out on this one. (We’re definitely considering including families for next year so let us know if that’s something you would be interested in.)
