Antonia Alvarez started her first business at 14. She sold custom perfumery and dedicated 50% of its proceeds to a non-profit initiatives in education. Her innovative, philanthropic approach has won her a Global Impact Award and enabled the funding of scholarships, school kits, and community projects.
In 2016 she closed down operations and moved to the US for college at Brown University. At Brown founded the Women’s Entrepreneurship program, and served as Director at Sigma Squared, a global impact entrepreneur community. Antonia lived in the US for 4 years in ed-tech in Strategy and Product, while she ran her family office based in Ecuador.
In 2022, she co-founded the Nowhere Summit, bringing together exceptional founders, investors, and creators, securing sponsorships from AWS and 27 other organizations. Last year Antonia moved back to Latin America joining the family business as Director of Strategy and Growth in Ecuador.
Today she is the CEO of Florasintesis in Peru, a fragrance and flavors company, and is building an accelerator for CGP entrepreneurs. Her ambition is to reach CPG entrepreneurs beyond Ecuador and Peru, to reach entrepreneurs across all Spanish speaking America.
