Tord Olav Doennum, a UC Berkeley alum from Norway, started his entrepreneurial path at 16 with Tor Sport, developing innovative ski goggles for Nordic winters, winning the BI Start Up Aid (2020). He later established Fundingstack, which has helped over 40,000 startups and 250 funds raise $10 billion, despite tough markets. He also played a key role in strategic partnerships with financial institutions like SVB and First Republic, and has secured 150 VC partnerships in 16 weeks.
He has also organized events connecting 500+ LPs/VCs, focusing on the Longevity sector, diversifying capital allocation in an industry dominated by tech investments. Tord is passionate about democratizing funding access, particularly in sectors like renewable energy and affordable housing, and aspired to tranform the venture capital landscape by prioritizing socially impactful ventures and sustainable growth.
As a twist, Tord once pursued acting and landed roles in popular Norwegian TV series and movies.
